Character Brief

Astraea Helbourne is a half Duskwight/Succubus Paladin of indomitable spirit and insatiable lust for adventure. She often feels invincible, but lives voraciously knowing how suddenly things can change.

Physical Attributes

• Age: (Equivalent to her 30s.)
• Height: 6'7" (She tall!)
• Body Shape: Dan Jones absolutely nailed my head cannon for Astraea's figure with this piece. (FFXIV says elves don't get to be busty and/or thicc, but Astraea is half succubus, so heck what the character creator sliders say!)

Personality

• Astraea is vivacious: Her near death experience left her yearning for what life has to offer.
• She is confident, almost to a fault, with a tenacity to match: She will push her way through difficulties if there's any chance of success, but will not do so if it puts others in danger.
• She knows she's gorgeous (Elezen are already pretty without the enhanced allure granted by her succubus side): She's got it and she will flaunt it.
• Astraea can be the life of the party and a flirt, but she has trouble forming real connections. She struggles to be vulnerable, to lower her impenetrable defenses.
• She secretly adores cute things, which she's deeply embarrassed by. Her plushie collection often escapes to corners of her home (where she can swiftly stuff them behind furniture in the rarer-than-she'd-like occasion for company), and of course every plushie has a cutesy name, a fact which she would never admit.
• She is shrewd with money and business (as one becomes living in Ul'dah). She is a collector of treasures, but rarely trades for them, instead seeking them out herself - she certainly favors an opportunity for adventure over any business opportunity.

Half-Succubus

Astraea is half-succubus (she was nearly killed in the calamity, presumed a corpse for a summoning ritual which technically succeeded in that it bound an entity within her). It's been a journey for her, from fearing the silent whispers and moving shadows, to accepting that her humanity is just as flawed as the voidsent within, and finally to embracing what and who she is (and admittedly kinda reveling in it).
