Pumpkins I've carved through the years.
2024
Carved into the back of my 2024 pumpkin. Eggbug forever.
2024
Always wanted to carve a witch on a broom. Feel okay about the results.
2020
Round. Orange. Seemed a good fit.
2019
Largely happy with how this turned out, maybe went a bit too wide for the pumpkin curvature.
2017
Couldn't be happier with how this turned out.
2017
Was so proud of getting the backlight effect right, even if the tongue-out expression is just a bit off.
2013
Loved this one, really hit what I was going for.
2012
I love Shadowgate and always wanted to do this carving.
2012
This was meant to be a bonfire from Dark Souls, but some cuts went wrong and structural integrety was compromised. So, a hard pivot using what was meant to be the big circular backdrop.
2010
This was a last minute call for what to carve. I really couldn't come up with anything and had been watching Azumanga Daioh for the first time around then.
2009
Love Frank Frazetta, and the Death Dealer remains a favorite piece.
2008
Something original for once, an image of villainy.
2007
I may have a slight obsession with grim reaper imagery...
2006
Final Fantasy 6 remains one of my favorite games, and Mog remains a favorite character, particularly his little stance on the cartridge art (from back when it was called Final Fantasy 3 in the US).
2005
I don't remember which cards these are based on, but happy with how they turned out.
